# Single product with deposit

A Single product with deposit is sold without configuration options, but includes an associated deposit amount that appears as a separate line on the receipt.

The deposit is modelled as a mandatory single-item Container nested inside the root product. The deposit Container has `min: 1, max: 1`, and the deposit product carries a fixed price. This separates the deposit amount from the product price both in the UI and on the receipt.
